Hi, my name is Martin Zeman.
my values
I love people and I believe in good in all of us. I am aware that the world doesn’t reflect that very well nowadays nor in the past but I believe it can be changed by understanding others, learning how to empathize with them and re-thinking our values (these are mine).
my mission
Today’s technology offers great tools to make this change a reality and a lot of people around the world are already working towards this goal.
My part in this movement is being a director at elexu – social network that meshes reality TV and online competitions. We at elexu believe that these very successful formats (reality TV and competitions) can be used just as well for good causes as they are used for pure money making today. Actually by having a real purpose they might be even more powerful.

my story
I was born in Prague and spent most of my life playing softball. After graduating from university I moved with my girlfriend to London for an adventure, experience, improving English and making money. After two eventful years in London, during which we got married, we decided to move to New Zealand for a year before settling down back in Czech Republic. But the plan has changed. We cut the New Zealand intermezzo short, moved back to London and decided to stay here for a while.
my blog
This blog started as a place to share our adventures from living abroad with our families and friends but it has evolved into a place where I publish my thoughts and ideas about the world around me. Topics vary – I don’t have a specific audience in mind when writing – I just write what I feel I need to write. Common themes are personal development and thoughts about the world around us. The blog is bilingual – in English and in Czech – it’s typically the same content but sometimes I add or remove a sentence during a translation.
